Greenzie surpasses 255,000 autonomous mowing miles, marking commercial autonomy milestone

PR Newswire

Commercial mowers powered by Greenzie have covered more than 9 billion square feet across
200+ customers in four countries

ATLANTA, Nov. 5, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Greenzie, the technology platform powering commercial autonomy across multiple equipment manufacturers, has surpassed 255,000 cumulative autonomous mowing miles, exceeding the average distance from Earth to the Moon and marking a significant milestone in real-world commercial autonomous mowing.

The Wright Autonomous Stander ZK(tm), equipped with Greenzie Powered Autonomy(tm), is helping commercial landscape contractors put autonomous mowing to work.

The milestone reflects years of commercial deployment, with equipment powered by Greenzie Powered Autonomy™ mowing more than 9 billion square feet of turf across more than 200 commercial customers, 45 U.S. states and four countries. The accumulated operation represents more than 65,000 equivalent operator days of autonomous mowing.

"We mowed to the moon, but the real achievement is the commercial experience behind those miles," said Charles Brian Quinn, co-founder and CEO of Greenzie. "Every mile represents equipment working on real properties with commercial crews. That experience has shaped our technology, strengthened our OEM partnerships and taught us how to help customers successfully integrate autonomy into their daily operations."

Founded in 2018, Greenzie has supported commercial field deployments dating to 2021. Its platform enables commercial mowing equipment to navigate and operate autonomously while supporting crews as they manage labor availability and productivity.

Wright Manufacturing has played an important role in advancing commercial autonomous mowing through its longstanding partnership with Greenzie. The Wright Autonomous Stander ZK™, equipped with Greenzie Powered Autonomy™, is helping commercial landscape contractors put autonomous mowing to work.

"Wright and Greenzie have worked closely to bring autonomous mowing into real commercial operations," said Ed Wright, CEO of Wright Manufacturing. "Reaching this milestone reflects the commitment of our teams, dealers and customers who have helped put the technology to work. We are proud of the experience we have built together and what it means for the future of commercial mowing."

Beyond Wright, Greenzie maintains OEM relationships with Mean Green Electric Mowers, Greenworks Commercial and Bobcat, extending Greenzie Powered Autonomy™ across multiple commercial equipment programs. Greenzie supplies the autonomy technology and integration expertise, while its OEM partners develop and manufacture the equipment that brings the technology to customers.

Greenzie's accumulated field experience also informs how the company helps customers adopt autonomy. Through the Greenzie Powered Autonomy™ Adoption Program, the company has developed a structured approach to evaluating suitable properties, preparing for deployment, onboarding operators, measuring results and expanding autonomous operations.

"Successful autonomy requires more than capable technology," said Steve Bush, chief operating officer of Greenzie. "Customers need to understand where autonomy fits into their operations, how to prepare their crews and how to measure success. We have spent years learning those lessons alongside our customers and OEM partners, creating a more consistent path to adoption as the industry grows."

"Commercial autonomy is already part of everyday operations for customers across the industry," Quinn said. "Our focus now is to build on that experience, help more manufacturers bring autonomy to market and make successful adoption possible for more commercial operators."
